NEW URBAN ARTWERKS WESBITE NOW LIVE
Artwerks was born out of a love of sourcing urban and contemporary art! A passion for Street Art and Photography has led to over 10 years of sourcing and collecting.
An unconventional eye, a copious amount of creativity and a qwerky nature, results in procuring pieces of art that provoke a reaction. Whether you’re absorbed by the beauty of a piece of art or repelled by its sheer existence. You can guarantee that art triggers emotions from within.
Delightful NEW Christmas stock has landed!
Team Framewerks are super excited about this year's festive range and can't wait for you to see it. Pop in for a browse and let us know what you think.
We also have a range of new Artwerks to gift this Christmas.
Team Framewerks were thrilled to be part of the surprise, when one of our customers asked us to frame a member of the family's childhood coat, for her 50th birthday. We created a beautiful box frame in oak with an additional aperture for a photograph showing the little girl proudly wearing her beautiful coat. The birthday girl was delighted with the end result.
Happy birthday love Team Framewerks xx

A jacket to treasure...
Team Framewerks were thrilled to hear from the lovely Rylan of Big Brother and X Factor fame this month. On Saturday 10th November 2012, Rylan performed his Spice Girls Mega Mix wearing this jacket. A note from Ginger Spice, a production photograph and plague printed and arranged by us complete the display. What a genuinely lovely chap!
We also frame footy shirts, shoes and baby clothes. Call now on 01206 843813
From file to wall by Framewerks
At Framewerks we make our customers experience as easy as possible, so when we were approached by London Gateway DP Ports to create a History Wall for their reception, we quickly established a workable process for them.
As the exciting venture takes shape London Gateway want to be able to update their history wall and quickly so they email us each image with a description and we get to work.
First of all we resize the image and print it along with the relevant text, next we mount each of the photographs and frame using the chosen glass and moulding specification.
We then courier the framed prints to London Gateway ready to hang! Speedy, easy framing!

As a picture framer, when an icon walks into the workshop (or more realistically is brought in rolled up in a tube with a glow of brilliance and expectation shining from within the packaging) your heart soars and your creative juices start flowing.
Frank Sinatra was welcomed into the Framewerks workshop this month with his bunch of mobsters in the form of a limited edition photograph taken by the legendary Terry O’Neill. As the image was unrolled, the team at Framewerks were excited by the challenge of framing Frank. We felt honoured to have been chosen, as Sinatra only surrounded himself with people who he considered the best in their business.
Working closely with our client we used non scratch UV filtering acrylic to protect the valuable image from sunlight and also to ensure if anything were to attack Frank and the boys the acrylic could not be broken and Mr Sinatra would not be harmed.
